The 09ers

Howdy! My name is Blake Masters. I'm 22, fresh out of Stanford, and living in Palo Alto/Menlo Park/Redwood City.

I spend a good amount of time working in Enterprise Sales at Box.net, a file management/collaboration startup in Palo Alto. So far, so good. They give me Federal Reserve Notes every so often. There's even a ping-pong table. Not a bad gig!

Hailing from Tucson Arizona, whatever genetic predisposition to individual liberty and voluntarism my parents dealt me has been nurtured by many moons of study, reflection, and play. I run The Stanford Liberty and www.mastersfiles.com, love hot tubs, and miss my pup Scout dearly.

My serious goals include finding some meaningful way to convey the joys of freedom to my peers, and doing whatever I can to save the Republic from its presently suicidal trajectory. I aim to continue learning as much as I can, with the hope that good experience and knowledge will help me help tackle big problems later on down the road.

My less-serious-but-still-somewhat-serious goals include having a blast in Northern California, getting up to the gold claim regularly with Ryan and my boss Jim, playing lots of basketball and, as they say, chillin'.
